A certification for those who know that care is not a role — it’s a practice.
**Discernment Manifesto**
Discernment begins with recognizing what is false. Then, it seeks a higher frequency for truth.
The foundational lie in many caregiving systems is this:
"This is just how caregiving is. If you feel depleted, overwhelmed, or unsafe, the problem is you."
Care that requires self-erasure is not true care.
Urgency that overrides consciousness is not leadership.
Burnout is not a rite of passage.
Discernment begins in the body.

This certification offers a 10-week, in-person holistic caregiver training focused on providing grounded, ethical, somatic-informed care for those navigating illness, grief, trauma, and end-of-life transitions. The Love Star Holistic Caregiver program was developed through decades of hands-on work with clients, families, and care teams—where nervous system regulation, presence, and discernment matter as much as technique.
This training is not medical or theoretical. It is practical, relational, and deeply human. Students will learn how to:
- Hold regulated, steady presence in emotionally charged environments
- Support nervous system balance through touch, pacing, and attunement
- Recognize when not to intervene
- Work ethically alongside hospice, medical, and family systems
- Care for others without abandoning themselves
This program is best suited for individuals called to caregiving as a practice, not merely a role.
Admission is by conversation and discernment. This training is not appropriate for everyone, and that is intentional.
Care is not a role — it’s a practice.
